GSD Coaching Day
The GSD (Get Stuff Done) Coaching Day is a virtual day of mentoring with me that gives you full access to pick my brain and ask any and all questions related to editing, business, mindset, or anything else.
What to expect:
We’ll use Voxer (a free app) to send text and/or audio messages back and forth between 8:45am – 4:30pm CST. The conversation will flow on and off between us all day as you have questions, reflect, take action, and repeat…and you can use me as much or as little as you need. We won’t be glued to our phones. Life will flow alongside. You’ll have plenty of time to pick your kids up from school, take a nap, work on other things, or simply #life.

When I started my freelance editing journey more than a decade ago, it didn’t take me long to realize I was on a not-so-clear and lonely trajectory. I had no idea who to turn to, where to go, or what path to follow in the world of editing. I also felt like there was a lot of gate-keeping and superiority going on: white women not wanting to share information or include those with different backgrounds than them. Eff. That.
Now, for your questions:
Anyone can benefit from coaching, no matter how much experience you have. I specifically help editors and other publishing professionals who are looking for clarity and guidance in their business.
However, coaching is not for people who are not willing to change their mindset or their perspective, those not willing to do the work, and those who are intolerant to change.
We’ll focus on goal-setting and intentions during our time together to set a strong foundation for your business. We’ll work through roadblocks and challenges and set a clear plan for next steps/homework—it’s not all talk and no action! I also ask if you’d like me to follow up and check in with your progress.
In a coaching dynamic, both parties need to feel the benefit and that it’s a good fit. So for any reason at all, either party can cancel at any time. If this happens, you will receive a refund of the prorated amount of your coaching fee that hasn’t been used yet.
